Thetas have dropped fast and far in past year due to couple weak pledge classes and girls with reputations as being arrogant, unfriendly, they are not a srat you see out partying and having fun, when they are actually out, look like annoyed or bored, not a top house anymore.

This is one of the better srats at UIUC but it is NOT the top or considered one of uppers after this year, theta still decent choice to be fair so if you like girls not a bad choice still for PNMs but not near popular as used to be

I have to agree that Thetas aren’t on the radar as one of the best groups lately, so many other great houses in the upper/mid level with better choices for sisterhood, partying, good vibes, thetas would not be my first or second pick if looking at recruitment here.

Theta is definitely a (not THE) top house on campus but their latest pc is very unsocial and doesn’t go out as much as the 22’s. The new location of Kams also hurts this sorority a lot. The girls are super hot but the sisterhood is very poor and many girls drop. They are not involved around campus but they are hot enough to still be considered a top house. Many girls regret joining just because of the top house status due to the lack of friendships

ik rankings are all opinions but its just straight up not true that “a lot of girls drop” theta had maybe 1 drop this year but other houses have like 5-8 and have to do informal

My advice to pnms is the buzz this last year is theta is dropping overall, they aren’t seen as one of the top social srats like some of their girls keep to themselves, some really basic, boring ones, still one of better houses but they have competition for top tier girls

I am not in greek life personally but my highschool best friend is a theta and she loves it so much. The theta girls that she has met are super pretty and always friendly. Seeing her so happy being in theta and meeting all of her friends makes me regret not rushing.
