When Beta moves up in "rankings" on this site, they get a bunch of negatives to bring them down (if you look, they're ranked a lot more times than almost any other house). And let's be objectively honest here. NO, BETA IS NOT "THE" TOP HOUSE THEY WERE FOR DECADES B4 THEY GOT KICKED OFF. BUT, since coming back, in only 3 years they consistently have events with high mid/top sororitys, have an excellent block in XO at Lion, and are probably at the top of upper middle frats. Overall a v. good house.

Because people are annoyed at all the selfranking by a house that is improving, but not upper middle yet. Also, they WERE one of the top houses, but were never THE top house. They were usually just behind ATO, SX, and Pike.

Self ranking needs to stop. It's a good house, with some cool guys and they've done great for a house that just got back 3 years ago. But these guys are trying to social climb a little too quickly. Give it a few years and I'm sure theyll be up there
