The negative reviews for beta come from other fraternities who hate losing recruitment, IM's, and grades to this fraternity every year. ask any professor on campus and they'll say they like having betas in their class more than any other type of guy. girls say "date a beta" for a reason. ask them why unless you're scared.

LOL. weird dudes. they've told me they hate how cliquey it is after joining. their parties are awkward to be at, they dont excel at anything you can measure an organization by, and i honestly (not meaning to insult, just my observations) believe this is the closest example of a sorority among the current fraternities on campus. at least they aren't douchebaggy and alcoholics like sig ep and lambda chi

great guys, great community service aspects and decent parties. They seem to have a lot of talent in their chapter but not know what to do with it. they seem to perennially underachieve considering the guys they have to work with. They wouldn't have gotten organization of the year if every fraternity was on probation most likely, but props to them nonetheless. no complaints about these boys

Nice guys, but kinda awkward. they seem like the outcasts that other fraternities didnt give bids to. No real complaints about them, just nothing to brag about either.

meatheads. one of their members hit a girl cause she talked back to him and his own brothers had to hold him back to prevent him from hitting her more. Every girl that enters is taking a risk, they want you drunk to have their way with you. Working out and partying is their life, these are the dumb jocks from high school who refuse to grow up. It would probably be fun to be a member but i couldn't look myself in the mirror or call myself a man if i wore those letters.

i roomed with an AKL and he was simply a lowlife. he came here on a full ride, rushed AKL, and lost all motivation to achieve anything meaningful. It was an adventure every day with him, and i never knew if he was gonna steal somebodies alcohol at his parties or shack with a girl who had a boyfriend on any night of the week. not for the classy individual, but if you just want animal house type fun, red room sounds pretty dope
