is there any racism during recruitment?

I noticed a lot of white people in the group pictures of sororities/frats and i'm worried that no one would accept me or that i would just be ignored if i tried to join.

from a sorority perspective, its really unfortunate for the lack of diversity. Don't let this current lack keep you from meeting everyone, you never know what kind of people you will click with until you try
