question about formal

How bad is aephi on campus? Heard a lot of terrible rumors about their exec board and their chapter as a whole. I was planning on rushing during the spring but I’m scared I will get a bid from them since they take everyone

Pretty bad. The few who are in it LOVE IT with their whole being. But many don’t stay long and disaffiliate, or graduate because they only went in as a senior. I’ve had friends who were members and really hated their experience and wished they waited till formal or chose a different chapter. It’s really up to you what you prefer, but I wouldn’t

I wouldn't if I were you, I am friends with a sister who graduated a few semesters ago and she was super unhappy. Which honestly is pretty sad

They aren’t a very good chapter, many of the members are very unhappy with it, although, like someone said before, a very few LOVE it. Many people end up disaffiliating or just stay in it because they are going to graduate soon. I have friends in it, and many people don’t say anything good about it. I would go with pretty much any other chapter.
