why does greek life suck here?

A couple years ago the university got super strict about their social rules and started handing out social probation to all chapters that hosted or went to pregames, parties, dages, etc.

Its gotten to the point where they've ruined most of the social aspect of being in Greek life. Used to be lit but now it's dying and recruitment numbers for frats and sororities have been dropping too

The bs unrully gathering law that Towson has also made it nearly impossible for chapters to do a 10th of the social stuff they used to be able to do. Can't even have 5 people in an apartment listening to music without violating that ordinance lol

Towson also just started letting any frat that wanted to start a chapter come. Like we’ve had 4 frats come in the past year (phi psi, sigma chi, sigma pi, crows). All they do is attract the weirdos because the demand to be in Greek life is just not there anymore. So all the normal guys join the established frats leaving half of Greek life being weird asf
