rushing for a frat question

by: Uhhhh bruh

Hey, I was thinking about rushing for a frat and I have some questions.

How does the rush process work exactly? I don’t really have an understanding about it?

What is the cost of being in a frat at Towson?

If I do transfer schools, could I still be affiliated with the chapter I rushed for?

Lmk :)

The rush process is fairly straight forward. There will be a few events like meet the Greeks and the club fair where you can go around to each fraternity table where they will have schedules showing the rush events they are hosting. From there you just go to whatever rush events sound interesting to you and you meet a few of the brothers. Whatever fraternity you find yourself clicking with the most just keep going to their events. After rush you’ll get a call from the IFC on campus saying that you’ve been extended a bid to join that fraternity.
The cost of each fraternity varies. Generally speaking your looking at paying around $1000 in dues split up between the two semesters every year.
And yes even if you transfer schools you will still be affiliated with that fraternity. So even if you transfer to ASU or something you just reach out to that chapter on campus.
