by: pnmdo the sororities stalk our social media pages (instagram, vsco, twitter facebook) before we rush? im just wondering because im private on instagram so i am wondering how they would see my instagram. do they judge us based on what we post as well?

sororities don't look at PNMs social media accounts during the recruitment process. In fact there are actually strict rules from Panhel of how sorority members are allowed to interact with PNMs even over social media. it could be seen as pre-judging or bid promising. The process is limited to the time spent during the parties of formal recruitment

the slideshows are just the names and photos that are submitted when a PNM signs up for recruitment. also we only view the slides so that if you recognize someone that you you personally know believe would be a good fit for your chapter you can write them a recommendation letter. the picture is the photo that the PNM uploaded and if they did not upload a photo, then there is no photo. chapters should not be looking at the PNMs social media accounts like the first person said. If your chapter is, that is a problem!
