job and free time
by: PNM (:
I definitely want to rush, but I have a few questions ...
Will I be able to go home on the weekends? Will balancing a part time job and sorority life be difficult?
I want to be involved as much as possible, but still be committed to my job and be able to see my family on the weekends (:

I’ll be honest: it’s tough sometimes. The midterm week(s) are always the roughest because you get slammed with assignments, all the events on campus like Greek week or homecoming, and trying to juggle availability for work and family- and sometimes it’s hard to balance them all so one might have to suffer. But if you can manage your time and are dedicated, it’s so worth it

At times it can be difficult to balance everything but people are very understanding about missing events etc. I have been able to be very active in my sorority, have two part time jobs, and go see my family whenever! It really doesn’t take that much of your time and events are scheduled in advanced so you have time to plan! It’s an amazing experience and I think if you have any interest in it definitely go through recruitment !

Many members of Greek life on campus balance school, jobs, greek events and even having a leadership positions in those organization. Not to say that it cannot be challenging at times, but it is something that can be done. It all comes down to knowing how much you can work with your schedule
