by: AlumRecruitment is around the corner! If you are a PNM reading this, I hope you signed up for recruitment. It is one of the best decisions I’ve made. But I’ll warn you, please take info on here with the smallest pinch. There may be some truths lurking in the chats, but a lot of it is fueled with drama and does a good job of skewing people’s mindset. Go for the chapter that speaks to YOU, not what greekrank says. Otherwise you will find yourself unhappy with preset expectations. This website is stupid af. Go in open-minded and enjoy yourself. Good luck!!

Thank you so much for saying this! I have been so anxious and have been over analyzing the Sororities. I do not want to end up in one where I do not have friends since the first semester I was really alone. Your post helped me step back and take a breath. Because there are so many good and bad things said on this site it is nearly impossible, to tell the truth!

Don’t overanlyze it at all. I did go on here as a PNM and after going through recruitment, having friends in other chapters and knowing my chapter, I will say the negative things said about my chapter are 100% true. I do believe we can be mean and cliquey and it’s hard to make friends. I think what other girls complain about in their chapters when we talk are things reflected in what is negatively said on their pages. I think trust your gut instinct. If you fit in somewhere than go with that, but also remember if there was a sorority that got a lot of backlash and you feel like they’re not genuine when you’re there, trust that.
