The best tip that I can think to give is to be yourself and trust your gut. Also, avoid talking about the 5 b's: Boys (which sororitys hang out with which frats), booze (any-type of partying), Barack or Bush (politics), Beliefs (religion) and Bucks (money).

I was a junior transfer last year when I went through recruitment. I would say the best advice to start is be yourself. Sororities see through you if you fake your personality. Also depending on what year you are, know that unless you are the absolute most gorgeous girl your age, a size 0-2, lots of Instagram followers, and have a rocking personality there are a lot of sororities who won’t take you. I would say that applies to juniors or older. It’s unfortunate, but true. Try to be happy and not let the anxiety and judgement get to you. Try going to an open house to get some jitters out.
