I am calling on all Alpha Phis to reject the recruitment strategies designed and overseen by Alpha Phi International Fraternity. I am calling for the end of the sanctioned hazing of our members, the blatant disregard for our values, and taking membership selection decisions out of the handles of our collegiate members. The "clip board" ladies need to go home.
For those who require more information, please go to Reddit and search for Alpha Phi Michigan where you will find an anonymous expose written by a former collegiate recruitment chair. She gives a very detailed and accurate description of the recruitment strategy as outlined by the women at the very top of Alpha Phi. It is currently being used on this campus too.
I call on the collegians of Alpha Phi to read the document fo themselves and ASK QUESTIONS. You likely have no idea that most of this is going on. You need to speak up.
This is a warning to the ladies of Alpha Phi International. No more stupid skits at regional conference. We don't care to watch you re-live your glory days. You need to step up to the microphone and own what is said in this expose and then tell us how you are changing it. If you don't, I promise you, we will be changing you at the next convention.

You care WAY too much lol. Coming from a guy in a frat here, I'll be the first to tell you they're not the best but certainly not as dreadful as you and 90% of the other petty sorority girls all over this site make them out to be. Grow up and let em do recruitment how they see fit. People like you are part of the reason Greek life at Towson is in a complete nosedive.

If you read through the google doc you’ll realize it is a very deameaning way of recruitment. Yes a lot of sororities can be petty with recruitment, but that doesn’t make it right. If you want sorority girls to be less of a buzzkill or “nosedive” we should focus on values based recruitment. Add girls into Greek life that bring substance and if they look good that’s great. Giving girls anxiety, depression, etc because they are put down internally and externally during recruitment is horrible. I’m in a “middle tier” sorority and you can tell in top sororities when they look down on you. I was even told by Phi Mu that they would see me at the next round. When I wasn’t invited back it hurt. There are better ways to do recruitment and that’s not why Greek life here sucks. It’s a systematic problem with several components.

totally agree with the persona above. Top tier girls absolutely look down on you if you're not in a top sorority. We've all heard stories of chapters here that dirty rush, and we all know how PNM's are truly judged.
Also, @bruhh, letting them or any chapter do recruitment "any way they see fit" just plays into the toxic culture that can be recruitment and greek life. It's almost as if you're saying that its okay to haze the new members by making them drink bleach, as long as it is what they see fit. Educate yourself. You're part of the problem.\n\n\n\n\n
