by: NewbThinking about rushing, can someone share positive things about Greek life here? Everything on here is pretty negative

This site is crazy inaccurate. Most of the positive ranks are self ranks and most of the negative ranks come from jealous and/or overly competitive members of other Greek orgs. If you want genuine insight, I would ask people face-to-face and get to know them. Towson greek life can be positive, but it’s not for everyone.

Some people make genuine connections that do last a lifetime. Some people get lost in the shuffle of it all. I’m in a sorority and I genuinely put myself out there a lot and still don’t have that group of girls for life. If you’re hyper preppy and girly, you’ll fit right in. You need to be a girls girl, not a guys girl or sorority life won’t be for you. I’m sorry. On the other hand there are fun events to go to and you can meet boys as long as you’re in a good sororotiy.
