greek life in general
by: Brotato chipHey everyone, I’ve been thinking of transferring to Towson and wondering how the Greek life is. Ie: how prevalent is Greek life on campus? what’s the average size of a frat? Do they have a frat row? (sorority buildings on or off campus) thanks!

Towson has a little bit of everything. New and experienced frats, depending on what you want out of a frat. We don't have housing on campus but there are off campus houses. I would say Towson greek life is average but everyone has the chance to make it better for sure. Hope this helps.

Greek Life at Towson is honestly going down hill. It's never been great since we don't have houses or a frat row, but recently it's gotten worse. Frats and sororitys are being kicked off left and right. They are then replaced by new super weird frats. Pledge class numbers for sororities were down across the board last semester even the upper tier sororitys. If your looking for a real Greek experience, sadly don't come to Towson

It's a huge bar scene here but being in a frat/sorority will def help you make friends and meet cool people.Towson Greek life has certainly gone downhill the past couple years, the school has been coming down hard on parties, dages, and pretty much anything else standard at other state schools. It's still prob better to join than to be a geed, just don't expect anything too wild.
