hazing
by: dagasdkokay can someone be honest for once and say how bad the hazing here actually is? Im thinking of rushing a sorority and keep hearing mixed things

its not technically hazing, but it still sucks and will lower your GPA. KD makes you take quizzes you have to pass to join them, so studying for that will take away from studying for school. someone described the process as "hell" so you arent physically getting hazed, but it still sucks really badly.

I know that zta and tri delta don’t haze at all. A lot of the sororities that did, toned it down to do they could justify it as team building. Lower tiers don’t haze either, there’s no reason. I’m also positive that phi mu doesn’t haze either. It’s mostly the middle tier ones that do if that helps! And these are also rumors, doesn’t mean it’s true!

Dphie is super strict about no hazing. There are no tests you have to take to get in. The “pledge” process is super relaxing. They want you to enjoy yourself and get to know everyone in a stress free environment. It’s not a sorority where older sister will bully you as a pseudo hazing thing. It’s so strict they won’t even call you a pledge because that’s considered hazing.

Homie, but this IS technically hazing. Something doesn’t have to be physical in order to be considered hazing.
