Honestly, how bad is the hazing? Like obviously TKE went far so can hazing be as bad as that or is it “tame”?

Don't listen to the person above. It's not all like TKE. Most greek organizations don't haze; or do minimal things that most wouldn't even consider hazing like making learn your prayer before initiation or name all members names.
