Greek rank is just one big comedy roast. It exaggerates and makes up things about each and every chapter (regardless of "tier" or "standing") for entertainment value and does not truly reflect what you may experience when you go through recruitment and meet/get to know each chapter. Each and every one of these chapters has it's own unique vibe and qualities and you just need to find the right one for you. And remember that what's right for you may not necessarily be what's right for your friends or roomies who are also going thru recruitment, so be supportive and encouraging of each other. Don't feel bad if your friend hates a chapter that you loved or vice versa because you're each attracted to different things and you both will find where you're meant to be. Towson Greek life is also unique in that chapters are super involved with each other and panhel love is very encouraged. So you and your girls can end up in different chapters and still hang out all the time and support each other as you guys grow into the chapters that were meant for you. Real life example, each of my friends from my freshman year ended up in different chapters and we're all still best friends, go uptown together after our respective pregames, live together, and have even made friends with each others sisters, etc. So go through recruitment with an open mind, be supportive, focus on how you feel in each room, and trust your gut. And don't forget to have fun! Good luck ladies
