formal recruitment- junior transfer student
by: TransferJuniorI was just wondering if there is anything I should be doing in advance to get ready for spring recruitment at this point? Also, as a junior transfer student with an extra semester what are my odds of getting a bid? Do they decrease? Do certain sororities not usually like older girls?

Don't let being older discourage you from doing formal recruitment. Alot of juniors go through it and find there home. If you want to "get ready" for formal recruitment you can go to some of the open houses in early November and see what is is like. You can also stop by tabling so girls get to recognize you and realize you're interested. As of Nov. 1st you can sign up for formal recruitment.

Thank you so much. I have a blunt question I need answered. I'm a size 6-8 in pants, but I hide my weight pretty well. Do I need to lose weight for Recruitment? Are there any sororities who wouldn't take me because of my weight?
