are rankings and tiers a thing?

Rankings are real. Not everyone cares about them, but most people do. I feel like rankings are based mostly off of popularity based on who wants to/has fun mixing with them, looks, and personality. High tier sororities are usually harder to get in to like zeta tau alpha and delta phi epsilon maybe delta zeta and middle tier sororities are like axid, sigma kappa, and kd and lower tier sororities are like theta and tri sig. Being lower tier doesn't mean you are a bad sorority though.

rankings are definitely a thing but not everyone cares about them (depends on the org youre in and what you care about in an org)--mostly refers to "popularity" based on who you mix with. zta, dphie, and dz are usually consistently in the top but theres never usually a clear #1 for too long since it always changes. recently tho dz has been on the decline and kd is climbing up. axid, sk, and theta are middle/bottom and tri sig is usually also placed at the bottom. again, rankings are based on peopples personal preferences tho and it always depends who you ask/what you look for in an org
