dirty rushing is actually a lot more general than most people think. it can be anything from promising a girl a bid before recruitment even starts, to telling a girl to drop during rounds because she will get a bid no matter what, to simply socializing too much with PNMs. there is a lot of gray area - but chances are if it quacks like a duck, ya know

Yeah, the Rho Gammas and sorority members have to be careful what they say and do. You're not supposed to talk about rushing outside of rushing and like the person above me said, you're not supposed to socialize with potential sisters outside of rushing. That's not to say you can't hang out with friends but there is a lot of grey area. Sororities members aren't supposed to say things like "I think you'd be a good fit," "You really have a good chance." When people talk about dirty rushing, it's not always as nefarious as it sounds.
