these girls undoubtedly make up the most genuine greek organization at this school- the term "sisterhood" does not sit lightly with them and they're a better group because of it

Okay, here goes. I'm a freshman, I went to a fall interest session with phi sig after two friends with older sisters who went here told me that they were "weird" and "not worth my time". I wanted to trust their advice, but I decided to give them the same shot I'm giving everyone else in the spring and go meet them. I'm really glad I did, because they were really a sweet group of girls and it was so obvious to me how close they were. Keep an open mind, people. You might be surprised :)

Went to an interest session. Seemed real down to earth and were friendly. Think I'll check back in spring when I can rush

The reason why this org can't break free from its "bad rep" is because the other greek orgs use them as a platform to step on top off. As long as phi sig and tri sig, etc are consistently torn down and labeled as "bottom tier", orgs like ZTA and DZ dont have to worry about slipping down the social ladder. Its all a dumb popularity tactic used by superficial girls who are more afraid of losing popularity than actually working hard to maintain their so called "dominance".

Coming into tcnj this year and definitely rushing a sorority! Though I havent met any of the girls yet, Ive been to their website and facebook page and they seem like a great group of girls! Greek rank has really torn them down though, it seems. I thought we were the generation that prided itself on celebrating differences and welcoming diversity... but all the posts here seem to attack phi sigma sigma for their unqiueness. Im definitely not counting phi sig out as I explore greek life at tcnj!

RANKINGS DON'T MATTER. Every woman in a greek organization should be supportive of her sisters and other organizations too. In a world where women only get approval or acknowledgement for their appearance, shame on all of you for trying to bring down the spirits of these organizations. You all disgust me.
