transferring

I'm transferring to TXST this summer, which will be the beginning of my sophomore year. I want to rush when the fall 2016 semester comes around, but because I took a year off after HS, I'll be turning 21 during that semester. I feel like my age would make it difficult for me to get bids, even though I'll still have at least a couple more years of school left. Any thoughts on that?
