considering tx st for next fall, def gonna rush with an open mind i could care less about the "best sorority" i just want to be in one i feel welcome/like i belong. is it hard to atleast get a bid?? what do y'all do for spring break and formals

Honestly if you just keep and open mind and you are super sociable it won't be hard to get a bid. I was really nervous going into it but I was just really sociable and didn't get cut from a single sorority

You don't have any way of knowing that. The houses you listed last might also have had you listed at the bottom, so they did cut you but you just happened to get back your top choices so you will never know how the others ranked you.
