So I am transferring from another greek chapter to txst and wanted to know if the transition would be smooth or not? My greek community where I am now is very close with each other. Is there anything I need to know before joining the greek community at txst?

depends what house you plan on getting in. They might be top tier here and not at your school and be more difficult. Or vise versa.
