going out

by:

Sooo since we have a few weeks before recruitment starts up, how is the best way to deal with parties? Are pnms encouraged not to go out at all (even if they don't plan on getting crazy sloppy drunk)? I guess I'm asking if going out every now and then, and sipping on some drinks would hurt you

I mean pnms aren't supposed to go out but neither are we, but tbh just don't draw attention to yourself in negative ways. If a sorority girl sees you on a table drunk as hell dancing dirty she's probably going to remember you when you visit her house

you can go out!! I mean this is college girly they know you're going to go out, but like she said, be smart about it! make sure your Twitter, Instagram, and all social media have no pictures with alcohol or talk about alcohol. when you are out make smart decisions and lay low. go out and enjoy your first couple of weeks, but do know that you'll definitely be seeing Greek women at these parties so keep that in mind and most importantly be safe!!

Recruitment started the day you signed up at Panhellenic. Weekly sororities sends out a list of girls names to their membership who signed up. Already we are watching your social media. Going out and partying before recruitment...not a good idea. You can't do something stupid or something to piss off a sister if your hanging out in your dorm room at night. Trust me. If you go out sisters are watching. I think it's best just to hang out at your dorm before recruitment. Get to know your roommate.

This is more so of an "if you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours issue." Look I don't care if you go out and party at these rush parties, just be reasonable and act responsibly. If you see a girl and she's in a sorority, which you may or may not know because she def won't be wearing her letters, just act normal and not wild and drunk. It's your best bet not to talk to actives either because if you won't tell on me I won't tell on you, that's the unsaid rule of going out during fraternity rush week.

Haha dang well I got three different responses.. I'm not trying to drink to make a mess of myself, more so just to socialize and meet people. If just being at a party is going to screw up my recruitment then I won't go but it doesn't really make sense

Stay in. Are you in that big of a hurry to hang out at the frat houses? You'll be surprised how many girls you'll piss off by partying before recruitment. We see and hear everything. Try to act like a lady at least the first few weeks before recruitment. Geez.

I'm in a sorority and all of the girls who actually want to have fun and release stress during work week are gonna go out and party. Fines and all that bs to the side, you're naive if you think we are all gonna sit at home and not go out. you'll see a girl from every sorority and don't think you won't lol

Just stay away from the parties. I won't kill you to wait until after recruitment.

By: No worries if you dont go
