Why doesn't TXST have Fall recruitment the week before school starts like most colleges?

Because we have a lot of strutters that go through recruitment and they wouldn't be able to if it was before school.

Actually the Univ doesn't want to spend the extra $$$ to open the dorms early. The dates are chosen at the Univ level, to coincide with the dorms and athletic dept, not by the sororities. If it was up to us we'd have it a week earlier, too!
