Alum Letters of Rec

Are rec letters important here? I know at some schools they’re essential for a bid but others they’re not even looked at.

They don’t matter. All they care about is if your pretty or not. They’ll try to argue and say they care about grades and extra curriculars but it’s not true. If you’re pretty you’ll get a bid.

If you can get them then that’s good. There will be girls who have a bunch and it will improve their chances, but this only really matters towards the more selective houses. Grades matter most as you will automatically be cut by many houses if your gpa is under 3.0. Hope this helps!
