Truth hurt? Nothing wrong with telling the truth regardless of impact. Half the chapters here suck and should start over or leave. Half are somewhat passable. Maybe 3 are pretty good compared to the rest of the country. Everyone not in denial knows that. By the way, our ASG and SACA are completely terrible by comparison to other schools. A lot of this is about a truly insane & seemingly incompetent administration, and the terrible rules/enforcement they create. People are working on that stuff, but while we may get some rule changes I doubt key school officials will be replaced. The rest is about the quality of our student body. We're only as good or big as what we have to choose from. As school selectivity goes up we'll get better.

are these accurate? my friend is in sig chi here and told me they are top tier at texas state but from the looks of this they arent?

Of course these aren't accurate. Not when people can self-rank or holding grudges. It's not terribly far off though at the moment.

SigChi is not top tier. Probably lower mid-tier but have potential. They rechartered not long ago, small, not fratty looking guys. They're doing it right and will be good years from now, but not impressing anyone at the moment. If he didn't think his chapter was good though then he probably shouldn't have joined. Maybe it's best for him.

Will they let sophomores pledge?

its not going to necessarily hurt your chances just because you're a sophomore. you just have to be what the chapter is looking for in a member.

Those rankings are pretty close. The top three are just about interchangeable. Then there's a big gap. PiKap & KSig are tied. Pike's behind. Then there's another huge gap With probably SigChi or PhiPsi leading the meaningless bottom half.

no way. ato does not own a house like the first two, so saying they are interchangeable is laughable. id say pikapp is close to ato, with ksig behind them. then its phi psi or sig chi. and then maybe sig nu/tau/and pike tied for last
