You must be an angry Sig Chi or Pike or something. Even without a charter, Phi Delt is still way better than half of the chapters here. Lambda Chi, while still kinda geedy, also continues to throw down. They're gonna stick around. Sorry I'm not sorry that y'all are still losing to a charterless fraternity.

It isn't a competition. The two of them don't have charters. They're trying to stay together, like all of us would, but it's over for them. They aren't going to be able to stay around as an unrecognized local for very long, and if they do then they'll never get their charter back. Do you really want rushees thinking it's okay to take a bid from a group like that? Open hazing, flaunting parties in front of the cops/school, no insurance, and waving Greek letters around while they do it. That's not good for any of us. I feel bad for them, but don't encourage it.

There is no "trying" about it.. As far as the past week of rush parties went, the charterless and "struggling" former phi delt (now tx mu) and lxa chapters threw by far the best parties along with KA. I heard for sure tx mu is taking spring pledges and im pretty sure lxa is also.. Whether or not you have a charter doesnt change you being unattractive, poor, and boring. Have fun being affiliated with a university that wont ever allow a real fraternity to function properly. If all fraternities were smart they would just form an off campus IFC like UT did.

I think you know if we could all do what we're capable of then a LXA party would never be mentioned (KA is under investigation from theirs).
I agree with you. The policies of this university are devastatingly harmful to every fraternity. Recognition from them is poison. If I had a choice, there would be no hesitation in walking away. But, we don't have a choice.
Most nationals will pull your charter if you're not recognized. While this administration is bad for us, we can't ditch them unless we all go together (off campus IFC). Even then some nationals would not support their chapters. I'm not a huge fan of our national headquarters, but I love my national fraternity. If you don't agree with that statement, then you are a meaningless party club rather than a fraternity. We need our charters.
I really do feel bad for LXA & PhiDelt. They got screwed over bad by Michelle Lopez. But, the fact now is they don't have charters. And that means they're done regardless of pledges.

To degrade other chapters on this website that has no effect on the reality of greek life at txst. It may voice the partisan opinions of some very skewed few (mostly forgotten slams) but that's about all. It would be beneficial to look at the system and it's limitations in which these groups are forced to operate under, and then one might understand why all of these fraternities are nowhere near their affiliate chapters at other nearby universities. Sadly the "top tier" organizations at txst are ASG and SACA etc. txst has some of the best fraternal groups in the nation and if the parameters were in place for them to show it then I'm sure they would, but until then our top tier will always be their bottom tier, and our bottom tier might as well not even exist.
