on vs off campus frat

With off registered fraternities sororities aren’t allowed to go to the events, yes some still do but their members can get in huge trouble if they’re seen there. Another thing is off campus fraternities can’t participate in intramural sports or philanthropy events since they aren’t registered.

Every girl is different but from what I’ve seen so far slightly more girls tend to hang out with the unregistered organizations. They tend to have better houses and have better events but are limited since technically we aren’t allowed to go their events, but most do. The off campus frats have their own intramural league where they play each other and that tends to be for fun to watch since it’s not co-ed. Ultimately, it’s where you feel most comfortable but the off campus frats do have a very large advantage over the on campus ones due to the restrictions set by the school.

So I’ll try to give the least biased review. On campus fraternity’s still get to go to sorority houses to sing, participate in philanthropy etc. off campus can’t do that because the sorority’s would get in trouble. They’re also not allowed to party with the off campus fraternity’s but they still do. Off campus fraternity’s can party pretty much whenever they feel like it and on campus fraternity’s have to register their parties and I think are only allowed three a semester. There’s ups and downs for both sides really up to you on which you think is the best option. If you want to obtain alumni status from a fraternity I’d say rush an on campus fraternity or kappa sig since they are still recognized by their nationals.
