sorority as a junior

by:

I'm transferring to Texas State this fall and was curious to know if sororities ever give bids to juniors?

no but they would rather have a freshmen over a junior cause those girls can be in it longer and get more out of it. But its not impossible for a junior to get a bid. If your an awesome girl you should be fine.

If you're a junior you'll need above a 3.0 or something absolutely amazing about yourself!

You can rush and be a junior. It's mostly freshmen/sophomores they prefer but it is possible to get a bid as a junior and with a 2.8

It is possible to pledge as a junior with a 2.8 but many sororities have a 3.0 grade requirement for a junior.

Would I probably be cut from many of them the first round due to my GPA?

Many groups will want to take juniors to fill gaps in their membership and juniors are great. You get a hard worker for two years. Some groups will cut you for your grades. But if you have above a 2.8 there's a good chance you'll be taken!
