Give it a chance.. You can't get another bid for a year anyway so you might as well try it out. There's a reason you ended up there whether you understand it now or later on. If you don't like it you don't have to initiate. Put in the effort to make friends instead of thinking that you are too good for that house or feel like you didn't connect with anyone during recruitment. Chances are you only talked to a handful of girls. You may feel different in a week, two weeks or a month. Just thought this was important to say as there are always women who didn't get what they wanted, but that house wanted YOU. Keep an open mind and give yourself room to grow... dropping immediately shows no character or willingness to better yourself. Letters do not matter, the relationships you build with your sisters and yourself are the things that matter. Keep that in mind especially as a freshman... I was unhappy with my house at first when I rushed but now I wouldn't trade it for the world.
