junior transfer rushing sorority

by:

Is it allowed? Would it be a disadvantage? Overall a well rounded, outgoing, pretty girl with a good head on my shoulders. CLASSY. However I am not from the South (out of state - California) and am looking to transfer to Auburn to be a part of a school that I think truly encapsulates college. The traditions excite me and I need a change of pace. Thoughts????

Yes I did! I'm looking into many schools to transfer, and accidentally copy and pasted my message too quickly without editing it. I want to get a feeler for all the Southern colleges. Hope you can understand!

Go for it! Honestly no one is going to judge you for being a junior. There are seniors like myself who join a sorority for their last year of college. At least here at Texas State. People here are pretty chill and have a “you do you boo boo” attitude. I would focus more on finding a college first that has your program of interest (because that is what you’re in college for) before focusing on Greek life. You’ll find your home away from home wherever you are regardless of what sorority you join. Best of luck and Eat Em’ Up Cats!

If you’re looking to get the most out of Greek life tbh you should go to auburn, however if you want the best chances in being in a top house then come here. Greek life here is fun but nowhere near the level of auburn.
