african-american sororities

Are there any African American sororities for freshman to pledge into. I have read about Delta Sigma Theta but I understand that is a council and not a sorority. Any help would be greatly appreciated, having trouble on google looking for this information.

That's a sorority that's part of the Pan-Hellenic counsel, it's not a counsel itself (whatever that would mean). as for info not a clue other than that it's way different.
