If a pnm got a bid yesterday to her house can she drop and do spring recruitment before she's initiated?

No. If you took the bid, you can't do any recruitment for a full year.

You're bound to that house for a year. Might as well make the best of it.

The best advice I can give you is to just explore your new home for the next couple of months before initiation, you may be surprised how much you fall in love with your house. For me, I had an upper middle tier house and a "bottom" house on pref night and when I got the bid from the bottom house I was really disappointed at first, but decided to give it a shot. I ended up finding my best friends who will be my future bridesmaids and opportunities for self enrichment I would have never found anywhere else. Please give it a shot and if after two months you still hate it then drop.
