by: AdviceYou need to be careful about liking pics of particular houses posts on social media, especially if you are only do it for one sorority. We do notice that and it can hurt your chances during rush. What happens if you get cut from that one house? Also, it's not smart to go around saying I'm going to be a or I only want to be a "fill in the blank with whatever house". That does get back and it will get you cut fast. Until you go through rush you really don't know which house you will feel most at home in and you don't want to limit your options. Deciding which house you think you want based off of social media/this site is doing yourself a real disservice and it may cost you in the end. Remember sororities ultimately choose you and most girls will get cut from at least one house. Yes, even girls who were popular in high school and have good grades. Don't help by giving them reasons. Also, one or two girls can't get you in so don't think because you know someone who likes you that you are automatic. Relax, go through the process and trust you will find your perfect house!

To be completely honest, I don't really see much difference "looks wise" between top tier sororitys and middle tier sororitys on social media. All the top tier sororitys have not-so-cute girls and chubby girls? I know adpi, zta and dz are top tier for reasons other than looks, but as far as just looks I really don't see a huge difference between the top tier social media pages and the middle tier social media pages. Go look at them for yourself and tell me I'm wrong.

Why do you think you see certain sororities show the same 4 girls....? EVERY sorority has pretty girls, the ones that have a smaller amount are obviously gonna show the same ones on their IG pages. That's why it looks like all of the top and mid sororities look the same "looks-wise" on their instagrams.

DING ding we have a winner. Recruitment is not set up to allow the houses to actually get to know most girls. It's flawed and why so many girls slip through cracks. Very political.

Chillllllll outttttttt y'all are taking what this girl said way too personally. All she was saying is that there are a good amount of girls who get cut from top tier for political reasons, and quite frankly I agree with her. One of my best friends was cut for no reason at all, and she hangs out with everyone in my sorority when there are girls who are actually in my sorority who don't hang out with or talk to anyone. That's why it's not fair.

Shallow or not everyone knows which girls actually fit in with their house and those who managed to fill space. Remember this when u chose your preference. If the girls seem unwelcoming during rush, you have ur answer. Save yourself the heartbreak and go where you're comfortable, not where you wish to fit in.
