recs for certain houses

We only have 8 sororities at TXST. Why would not get rec letters for all of them? You've got about 7 weeks to get it done. It's something you do for recruitment just like shopping for your outfits to wear. 🙄

Your gonna wish you got rec letters for AXID and Chi O after you get cut from ZTA ADPi and DZ the first night of recruitment. Those sororities make HUGE cuts the first night. You need to go into recruitment with a open mind about all those mid tier and bottom tier sororities.

i would try to get a rec for all 8 sororities, and please keep an open mind! recruitment is a wild, ruthless process and it is so easy to get caught up in the superficiality of it all. find girls who you feel comfortable talking to rather than what "tier" theyre in. txst greek life is not huge so the idea of a tier system is honestly pretty silly

Well considering ZTA just posted a video on their Instagram a stack of letters of recommendation they've received in the mail my guess is you should be getting your rec letters done.

You NEED rec letters for adpi dz and zeta. Unless you're like a beauty queen 4.0 gorgeous Wonder Woman, you need rec letters for them. Chi o and axid, might as well get them but it's fine if not. TBH I'm an average looking, average grades, tbh all around average kind of gal and I didn't have any rec letters to axid or chi o and had them until my final 4 houses where I went with a top tier that I did have a rec letter for. So basically it's all just random.
