sophomore rushing

Any tips on rushing sororities this fall as a sophomore, I didn't rush last year because I wanted to take time to adjust to college

Most sororities only take a few at most but don't let that discourage you. I high GPA will also help you. Good luck.

You won't get a bid from any of the top 3 unless if you are pretty much perfect or you already know someone in the sorority who will help you out. I suggest meeting girls in those sororities asap.

okay ignore the first few replies. texas state panhellenic does a dual quota system, so basically every single chapter gets a quota of how many freshman they can take, and how many upper class. this system prevents stuff like not getting a bid bc of grade, and clearly some other people who replied probably haven't done recruitment as an active, or idiot boys, or they would know this. all in all, because of the dual quota, you being a sophomore isn't that big of a deal. you'll be fine- just be yourself and you will find your new home!
