I disagree. Sig Nu hardly does anything. You never hear about them. Sure Sig Chi has their issues but they're certainly much more on the radar than Sig Nu.
The real issue was someone put Fiji and Pi Kap above Delta and Alpha Sig. Pi Kap will never make it any further in the ranks in their current state. They're just idling for all intents and purposes. Fiji is doing better and growing, but Alpha Sig and Delta Sig especially have kicked ass to make themselves known this past year. Alpha Sigs pseudo house isn't anything to sneeze at and Delta Sigs obvious campus involvement and general like-ability goes a long way. They've earned their spots as solid mid tier houses.

What can fraternities that have a bad reputation do, to make you change your mind about them. Recruiting better obviously, but some of yall have this idea in your head that because your big blacked out one time at the house that its a bad house and because we dont have a 90 man chapter were garbage? ~a middle tier guy trying

Delta and Alpha Sig the 2 most competitive mid tier fraternities at the school. By some means Alpha Sig has managed to procure a house nicer that all of the fraternities on campus except maybe Delt and they're almost irrelevant. Delta Sig is one of or if not the most involved on campus. They're everywhere, always helping and generally really nice guys. For as young as both of these fraternities are, they're actually doing quite well.
If the consistent bashing of middle tier fraternities continues, you will never see them grow and Greek life as a whole WILL continue to absolutely suck at TXST. Unless your fraternity is jealous of them in some way, you really don't have a reason to bash on other frats. Sure there's competition in Greek life but we're all after similar goals. Why not try to build interfraternal relationships rather than constantly schit on each others?
