only 8 sororities

No sorority at TXST is BAD. I mean, we only have 8. For almost 40,000 people, that's not a lot. We honestly need more to match up with the amount of fraternities that we have and to improve our Greek life in general. However, since there are only 8, they are all quality and stand out in their own ways at TXST. If you are a PNM, go into Recruitment with an open mind and consider every sorority, because they are all pretty good when you look at the big picture. Sure, there's "tiers," but those don't even matter that much when there's so few.

I think we'll be fine now we have 8. We only get around 800-900 girls going through recruitment. Most Texas and Oklahoma colleges have around 1200 girls going through.
I think our biggest problem is girls dropping if they don't get their first picks.

There's a sorority for everyone. Seriously. Tiers are dumb because they don't take into consideration that every PNM is different and has different needs from a sorority.
