greek life ruined at texas state
by: Kicked off fraternityUnfortunately, this school had chosen to be against Greek life as a whole. Greek life is a very small tight group here. The problem is that we represent a very small part of the student body. Greek life has been slowly rising here at Texas state and now has been completely dismantled. It'll take the other fraternities YEARS to grow to the point that delt, ato, and ka were. I wouldn't recommend rushing here considering you'll have an uphill battle with the school and especially our universities president.

Having 6 security guards, and no one responsible to check and see if minors were drinking is irresponsible at best with the amount of people that were there. If you really think there should have been no disciplinary action taken than you are a big part of the problem. A girl lost her life, and you are worrying about greek life at Texas State and upset because your fraternity got banned? That is pathetic and exactly what is wrong with Greek life here. It is about more than just throwing a big party and making sure your fraternities get girls drunk enough so you can finally get laid. If that were your sister you would look at things differently. Grow up, face the consequences, the presidents of those fraternities should be thanking God they aren't facing jail time.

I understand completely. But a bus ran over a girl. But they had busses to make sure everyone was safe as well as security. But when a bus driver runs someone over, the fraternities can't control that. The bus driver is responsible. Feel like the school is using this as an execuse to kick them off. Just like how they try to keep everyone on probation.
