hazing??

I know that the campus has adopted a a no hazing policy but do Panhellenic sororities and IFC frats actually abide by this?

panhellenic, absolutely no hazing but ifc is a completely different story

panhellenic chapters take that seriously and do not haze, but ifc chapters are a little different and do, but severity depends on the chapter but nothing too too bad

Texas State tolerates no hazing so fraternities do not partake in the act of hazing

Dude I don't know why you would join a non hazing fraternity. Yeah the school may view hazing as really bad and if a chapter gets caught they are screwed but they consider calling someone a weeny hazing. Hazing really does build brotherhood, and I'm glad I was and wish our new members went through what I did because they don't have the respect or the bound that the older guys do. everyone before you in that organization probably went through worse than you did, and they turned out fine if not better. I would go through pledgeship and get my ass hazed off again if I could.
