sorority?!?
by: AllyOkay so I'm gonna be an incoming freshman in Fall 2017. I'm debating what sorority to choose. I love the philanthropy of Delta Zeta and ADPI. What I want to know is how it the sister hood, and I'm undecided between which one to choose because they both sound great and their ratings are a roller coaster but I'm sure every sorority has it like that as well. DZ or ADPI???

That was a joke, don't listen to them. Just go through recruitment and see where you fit in best. Also, don't go into recruitment with your mind set on a particular one or two houses, you may get your hopes up.

Their retention rate (dz) was worse than ZTA this year meaning they made bigger and worse cuts. U don't pick. It picks u.

As much as you want to feel like you have a choice, unless your gpa is a 4.0 and you're drop dead gorgeous you will get cut from houses. I went into it really wanting dz (I'm blonde and not bad looking tbh so I felt like I fit the look) but I ended up in gamma phi (which I tried to drop the whole time). I love gamma phi even though it wasn't the one I originally wanted. All I say is keep your hopes high but your expectations low so you won't be disappointed.
