It's not a bad thing necessarily. Honestly if a sorority had a lot of drops or not enough girls after fall recruitment (because the girls either put them as their second house and dropped them anyways and decided they weren't happy) they do coninuous. This happens a lot with DZ, AXID, and gamma phi. Not that they're bad, they are all great. It's just not always what girls expected. I say go for it!

For many of the sororities who rush in the spring, you need to know sisters. Right after Christmas break, ask your friends who are in sororities if their house is participating in spring recruitment and if so, if they could put your name on the invite list to any events they are holding. Some events are informal (invite to lunch at the house) while other events are more organized (several PNMs invited to an evening get together with sisters). Good Luck!

Spring rush is usually very small. One sororitiy might take 20 PNM's and another night take 4. I'd depends on how many open spots. Girls graduating in December, not returning 2nd semester, decided they can't afford the dues and some going inactive to go study abroad. Many different factors.
