I rushed Fall 14' and that year Kappa Sig took a large quality pledge class. Not sure how many exactly but around 40 guys. I remember while I was rushing that they had a rush video. Not the greatest quality but definitely FAF. I'm sure the actives put a lot into rush but I definitely think the video had a huge effect on their pledge class size for that semester. This semester we didn't seem any new Kappa Sig rush videos but we did seem some for other fraternities such as Phi Psi. In my honest opinion they had the best rush video; really well put together. Not saying that Phi Psi is a top fraternity but the video def made them look that way. Phi Psi took 48 guys this semester and they honestly don't seem to be too weird either. See any correlations? To get big numbers of guys that are actually decent... make rush videos, make them school appropriate, and make them FAF. Why do you think sororities spend so much money on rush videos?

Coming from you who thinks phi psi is decent cause they took 48 pledges they bid anyone and everyone being selective is a good thing

I think you're right, people just weren't ready for phi psi to be where they are right now. I have seen a few of their pledges and they seem awesome, idk why everyone is so scared of Greek life growing here but it's happening and I expect pledge class to continue to get bigger and better for everyone on campus. This is the largest freshman class at Texas state so I don't think it's that hard to find quality guys but also get a large number of quality guys either

Ohh and I'd just like to add that ATO is definitely not "#1" hahahaha. They had the worst year last year even worse than delt. And I won't even bring up their previous two pledge classes before this semester... The way their chapter is organized sucks, their party house sucks, the only thing keeping them together is having some really quality older actives and now pledges. I'm friends with a bunch of ATO's they're super chill dudes but they are not the best on campus.
