Classy ones like senior pictures, or cool pictures from traveling. Not selfies or kissy faces.

Could it just be a regular headshot or is recommended that it be a professional photo?

A headshot is okay. Don't spend a lot of money on a professional photographer. Also, clean up your social media. Every sorority starts creeping on you as soon as they receive your name from Panhellenic. The sororities can see more cute pics of you (full-length) on your social media.
