your gpa does matter at recruitment

Once you sign up for recruitment Panhellenic gets a copy of your high school transcript from TXST. Then Panhellenic sends your info and picture out to all the sororities. So yes your gpa is important. Panhellenic and the sororities want the information because they feel it's important to have. Your in college now. Why would a sorority risk giving a girl a bid who might not make her grades and then have her go home for Christmas break and not come back? If your looking at a bunch of great PNMs but one has a low gpa well you can guess which one is going to get cut. Put yourself in the sororities shoes. If next year it's your job to help select the PNMs wouldn't you try to get the best?
