If my gpa is a 2.8 and I'm rushing as a junior will that effect the likelihood of me getting cut? I know the minimum is 2.5 but I just feel uneasy hovering around the minimum.

i try my best to be open minded but I've never really understood why girls rush as juniors. I can understand rushing as a sophomore, but rushing as a junior is baffling to me. Unless if you plan on graduating later than senior year, what's the point? You only have two years to be in the sorority, and seniors normally don't do a whole lot with the sorority anyways unless if they hold a position?

But to answer your question honestly: you might struggle if you don't know any of the actives really well. I know people who were in the same situation but sophomores instead of juniors and even they struggled. It's all a game of luck.

Well I started at community college (parents didn't want to help pay for school) so I was there for a year and a half and this past spring was my first semester here. I've met quite a few girls in sororities and they all really want me to rush. I've always wanted to be in a sorority ever since I was little, and although I'll only be in it for two years I'd rather have those two years with a group of people I'd call sisters than none at all.
