fall rush

I'm a freshman going to Texas State this fall and I plan on rushing. I filled out the IFC information page. How does the whole rush thing work? Do Fraternities contact me from the information page? and if so when does the rush chairmen start contacting people that are rushing? Do i need to contact the Fraternities? Since it's not formal do we just go to the houses and meet the members during rush week?

The fraternities have access to the IFC rush list, however most of the fraternities have some way for you to sign up for their personal rush list on their website which I would recommend doing so they can contact you about smaller events.

Social media is probably the best/easiest way. Sign up for their chapter builder(usually in the fraternities bio) or contact their rush chairman
