I'm trying to gather as much info about Texas state as possible and I stumbled upon get something called "diamond sweethearts" I'm utterly confused. Are they like a wannabes sorority? What exactly are they and what's their reputation?

They're not a sorority, they don't have Greek letters or a house nor are they part of Panhellenic. They're just a special interests organization for the athletic department

Athletic department organization that primarily supports the baseball team. There are girls that are D sweets and also in sororities.

DSweets do similar things to sororities and participate in some of the same things like Derby Days. They are smaller than a sorority though and pretty selective.
